In memory of Lynsey, who passed away on 28th November 2010, after battling with cancer. Lynsey loved Tug of war. Lynsey joined Sheen Ladies in 2006, helping us win Gold medals at two U.K Championships, numerous National Championship medals Gold & Silver medals indoor & outdoor, and World Indoor Bronze medal. Lynsey was a dedicated puller at our club & will be sadly missed by everyone. Our thoughts to go to her parents Stafford & Lesley, brother Andrew & Fiance Gavin.
On Monday 13th December, Lynsey was laid to rest, as a mark of respect to Lynsey we wore our club jackets, as she was always seen wearing hers. As a fitting tribute to Lynsey, Dawn placed a Sheen ladies crest on her coffin, so Sheen Ladies will always be with her, as Lynsey will be with us.
